RNA.org links with social media
COLUMBIA, MO. - Religion Newswriters Association members can now link their RNA.org postings with their Facebook profile.
The service, called "Facebook Connect,” means members need only post information once for it to appear on both RNA.org and Facebook.
RNA launched its new Web site in April 2009. Members can now network with each other, post to blogs and forums within their groups, post resumes, or search job openings.
In addition to the Facebook Connect feature on RNA.org, RNA has also enhanced, expanded and integrated its presence on other social media platforms.
At RNA’s 2008 Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., The organization created a Twitter account with live updates from the panels and workshops. The account was recently redesigned and reactivated. New tweets are published throughout the week.
In June RNA also launched a Facebook Page. Like the new RNA.org, the RNA Facebook Fan Page also contains links to other features, including all YouTube videos from past conferences. Facebook fans of RNA can also post links and comment on the Facebook Fan Page.
