First-Ever BELONG Tour, for Women, Erases Lines in the Sand and Draws Big Circles--With Jen Hatmaker, Shauna Niequist, Patsy Clairmont, Angela Davis, Sharon Irving, Nichole Nordeman

DALLAS – Two political conventions just filled arenas and drew lines between “us” and “them.” But starting August 19, a breathtaking and rare collection of sought-after national speakers instead will draw big circles–as thousands of women pull up and take a chair.

The BELONG TOUR is a 12-city movement drawing women from all camps, all stripes, into arenas and conversations that give meaning, connection and hope. With 30 books and leading blogs, television shows, national stages and awards to their credit, Jen Hatmaker, Shauna Niequist, Patsy Clairmont, Angela Davis, Sharon Irving, and Nichole Nordeman—an impressive circle of authors and artists—open themselves unconventionally to convention-sized crowds of women coming in twos, in groups, and by the bus.

How does it look, in 2016, when arenas fill with women?

“I’m excited to hear the real stuff in our lives,” America’s Got Talent semifinalist Sharon Irving said. “I feel there will be more commonalities than differences.”

“We talk about purpose and how we’re uniquely created and gifted,” says Jen Hatmaker, HGTV celeb whose latest book, For the Love, recently topped the New York Times bestseller list. “We talk about what we have to offer this world and where we can make things beautiful. This is hopeful and promising and unprecedented.”

Throughout the two-day BELONG program women can reconnect with their dreams, form communities, and identify next steps.

“Women who walk through our doors can feel total freedom to be exactly who they are,” said award-winning recording artist Nichole Nordeman, whose “Slow Down” video has had more than 20 million views since May. “We honor what’s beautiful in women and allow them to shine that back.”
