Columbia, Mo.—The RELIGION | NEWSWRITERS board recently appointed Ansley Roan, reporter for
Beliefnet, to the board of directors.
Roan joined RNA
in 1997 as a reporter for Teen People magazine. In recent years, she

Service. At Beliefnet, Roan is senior faiths editor and an editorial team leader. Her articles have appeared in The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, and The Dallas Morning News, among others.
"I am honored to join the RNA board. RNA has been a wonderful resource for me," Roan said. "I’ve made contacts, found sources, gotten story ideas, and had the privilege of meeting and learning from profoundly accomplished journalists. I hope that I can help RNA continue to be a great resource for journalists in the future."

the Denver RNA

Last month, board member Dale Hanson Bourke of the CIDRZ Foundation, resigned from the board due to scheduling conflicts.
