RNA Offers Scholarships for 2011 Annual Conference in Durham, NC

Application deadline: June 1, 2011

The application process is now closed.

(Columbia, Mo.)— RNA invites its active members to apply for scholarships to attend the 62nd RNA Annual Conference Sept. 15-17, 2011, in Durham. This conference is the world's largest and oldest meeting of journalists seeking to understand and report on religion better.

Stipends are up to $1,000 per person cover registration, hotel and travel fees to attend the meeting.

All active RNA members who have not received more than two conference scholarships in the past are eligible. Priority will be given to active members who have never received a scholarship.  Applicants must provide their current resume and a statement of need.

To view the scholarship guidelines and apply online, visit our website, http://www.rna.org/?page=conf_scholarships.

This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of donations to the scholarship fund and the proceeds of a silent auction held at the annual conference.   To donate to the scholarship fund, visit our secure online payment center, https://rna.site-ym.com/donations/donate.asp?id=2893.
