Religion Newswriters Association
The Religion
Newswriters Association is a non-profit trade association founded in 1949
to advance the professional standards of religion reporting in the secular
press as well as to create a support network for religion reporters. RNA
strives to help improve and encourage religion writing excellence in the
secular press.
RNA is governed
by a board of members elected for three-year terms. The organization
prides itself on its network of experienced religion journalists in the
print and broadcast media, as well as its member support through its educational annual conference and online tools for journalists. RNA is also a resource for
speakers about religion reporting or for sources on religious topics.
